A smashing success and fun times using our 330 ton Servo Hydraulic Press for can smashing sessions. When it comes to a flatness award, the HD1-330 earned its stripes.
With the controlled I-PRESS motion and pressure profile, fast approach, slow pressing speeds, adjustable dwell time at bottom the HD1-330 reduced the cans to paper thin aluminum. The can smashing sessions sure pulled in crowds shooting videos.
Having the only servo hydraulic press at the show we enjoyed a captive and interested audience. The under power display was intended to be 4.0 Thought Provoking and it did just that.
Our Servo Hydraulic straight sides and four post presses can save up to 80% energy consumption. Combine that with the I-PRESS & Automation multi-point programmable profile – companies can eliminate or reduce secondary operations.
To make the display even more interesting we added a 6 axis Fanuc robot mounted on the left front press upright to simulate press tending.
Also, on board systems from sensor maker BALLUFF contribute to the 4.0 condition monitoring that reports all activity to the I-PRESS control. Monitored devices include, slide position, lower cushion position, pressures, flows, tank levels, temperatures, leak detection, air gap power and data for die monitoring and/or set up information.
The I-PRESS 3 in 1 simulator debuted our Mechanical, Servo Hydraulic and Forge press control. It allowed attendees to play and learn the control without intimidation. I-PRESS was designed to be both safe and intuitive. Many visitors were surprised at the deep bench of features that are available.
