Presses from 100 to 3000 ton. The advantages with our Servo Hydraulic
system include, faster speeds, full adjustable speeds, adjustable
pressure control and adjustable travel of slide or cushion stroke. Top
that off with the ability to get full tonnage at "any point"through out
the length of the stroke, you get one awesome press.
The press below is one of three Sutherland Hydraulic Press which
was originally installed for punching the sunroof section for General
Motors SUV's. Equipped with a robotic cell for ease of handling the
large roof panels.
Below is another automotive roof panel small line for smaller 2 door
automobiles. We have installed over 20 of these presses for roof panel
production. The photo below shows 2 sets 550 ton Servo Hydraulic during
die tryout. Once dies are confirmed ready for production, they are then
moved to the fully automatic line with robots, shown below. If you would
