This article is focused on our I-PRESS® Servo Hydraulic press and control systems.
Our I-PRESS® & Automation control systems are available on both Rockwell Allen Bradley, Omron and Siemens hardware and software platforms.
With I-PRESS® Connected Enterprise feature, intelligence gathering and reporting are limited to your imagination.

PRESS FRAME TYPES Available, Now that we have exposed you to the control system, let's dig into the mechanical & fluid management systems that come standard with Sutherland Presses. We make straight side frames in unitized and full multiple piece tie rods (left) types.
The other type is our HP four post hydraulic press series when applications require large access areas on all four sides of upper slide and lower bolster die area.
The HP2-400 (left) is a two cylinder servo drive line that is coil fed and producing large diameter aluminum blanks.
FLUID SERVO MANAGEMENT:
Over the last 30 years we continue to refine our fluid management systems with safety, performance and ease of maintenance in mind.

All aspects are monitored at the I-PRESS® Servo Hydro press and automation control. This includes, oil temperatures, oil filters, flow rates, valve positions and more.
THE MOST ROBUST PRESS FRAMES AVAILABLE:
The HD1-300 Servo Hydro (left) is a great example of what you can expect when you select Sutherland as your press line provider. While this is a small press for us with only 300 ton capacity and a die are of 60" x 48", the press weight exceeds 65,000 lbs.
Our slide guidance system comes standard with taper wedge 8 point slide guides with high compression bronze liners that are automatically lubricated. As you can see the yellow & black slide adapter plate with T-Slots is removable should you want to gain some extra daylight or do special machining.
