APEX CENTER DRIVE WITH WIDE SUSPENSION POINTS

The KS2 APEX SERIES offers unique advantages in durability and reliability when compared to other presses. The KS2 features an advanced crown design and tie rod frame to provide the extra rigidity needed to handle tough jobs. Every press in the KS2 line also benefits from our Apex Center Drive. This highly engineered drivetrain utilizes a center drive with left and right crankshafts. By placing the main drive gear box in the center, the left and right crankshaft journals and connecting rods can be moved further apart. This places the connection points between the connecting rods and the slide closer to the ends of the slide. With such a wide stance, the KS2 provides greater stability for large dies and off-center loads.
